Family feud no more? Former President Rodrigo Duterte is extremely happy that his four children are now finally bonding amid his latest ICC predicament. According to Vice President Sara Duterte, her father was particularly delighted seeing her and half-sister Kitty during a visit at the International Criminal Court (ICC) detention facility last Tuesday. The family reunion was extra special since it was the first time Duterte saw them in the same room. “I think former President Duterte is overjoyed with what happened to the relationships between my brothers and I and our half-sister especially when he saw us there last Tuesday” she said in a media interview on Friday, April 4. “So that would be the first time that he saw Kitty and me together in person. Because we do video calls before. But never in person that he saw me, Kitty, and I together,” she said. The vice president and her two brothers, Davao City Rep. Paolo Duterte and Mayor Sebastian Duterte are children of Duterte with his ex-wife Elizabeth Zimmerman. Kitty, the youngest, is the former leader’s daughter with her longtime partner Honeylet Avanceña. But while the Duterte siblings are getting along just fine, the vice president admitted that their mothers are not exactly on friendly terms. “They don’t have a relationship,” she commented briefly. The vice president earlier revealed that she has reconciled with her father and now has a growing relationship with Kitty amid the latest crisis affecting the family.
