Imee Marcos said on Tuesday that she and Vice President Sara Duterte cried while shooting the "Itim" political ad. She dismissed insinuations that the vice president's endorsement of her candidacy was a reward for leading the Senate probe on the arrest of former president Rodrigo Duterte by the International Criminal Court (ICC). The Interpol, armed with an arrest warrant from the ICC, arrested the elder Duterte and brought him to The Hague, Netherlands to face trial for crimes against humanity in relation to his bloody war on drugs. Sara and Marcos came up with the political ad titled "Itim" (black) because they supposedly mourn the current condition of the country with high prices of goods, criminality, and unsolved corruption.
