Vice President Sara Duterte said President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. totally missed her “sarcasm” when she thanked him for helping mend her ties with her father former President Rodrigo Duterte. “I think the sarcasm is lost on him. Hindi niya siguro ako naiintindihan,” the country’s veep said in a media interview in The Hague on Friday, April 4. The vice president recently disclosed that she made peace with her dad, detained in The Hague, ironically thanks to Marcos. It was the Marcos government that arrested and handed over Duterte to the International Criminal Court in The Hague. “This really is ironic, but I have to thank Bongbong Marcos because there was forgiveness between me and PRRD for all that has happened in our lives,” she said in a media interview after she and half sister Kitty visited their father at the ICC facility last Tuesday. Reacting to the veep’s statement, Marcos claimed he was “glad to help” the Dutertes. The vice president, however, pointed out that Marcos just did not get that her statement was laced with sarcasm. She then reminded him that his job is to serve the country, not fix personal family issues. “Hindi niya siguro naiintindihan na ang duty and obligation niya ay para sa bayan, hindi para ayusin ang mga personal na mga problema ng mga pamilya. The sarcasm was lost on him,” she added. Thank You Marcos! Sara Duterte Feels ‘Blessed’ To Mend Ties With Dad Rody Related Posts
